With a thorough understanding of horse and rider biomechanics, Jennifer enjoys teaching horses and riders at any level of competitive dressage or to enhance a partnership for any equine endeavor. Regardless of training level, breed, or goals, Jennifer is passionate about helping riders achieve harmony with their beloved horses! 

 

Jennifer is a patient, encouraging clinician with an extremely thorough understanding of dressage fundamentals. As a USEF “S” judge since 1985, Jennifer brings an invaluable perspective to her training and clinics, regardless of the horse’s breed or rider’s experience. She facilitates students & horses to discover their full athletic potential using classical techniques. Whatever your level, this clinic is for you. Jennifer emphasizes "positive, effective, and fun" in her teaching.

About Jennifer

With over 40 years as a USDF, USEF ’S’ judge, Jennifer’s guidance will give participants the competitive edge to achieve their goals. Jennifer competed numerous horses to USDF championships and Horse of the Year awards at national & FEI levels.  Her students are proven winners with many successes including USEF Dressage Equitation Championships, NAJYRC Medals, and USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals.

 

Jennifer's training is a living link to these dressage masters:

  • Andreas Hausberger, Chief Rider of the Spanish Riding School: Jennifer maintains a close relationship with Hausberger, including hosting annual weeklong US clinics for him. As a work-inhand specialist, Andreas has fostered Jennifer’s skills developing horses’ piaffe and passage from the ground.

  • Susanne Von Deitz, physiotherapist, biomechanics expert, FEI dressage rider, author, clinician: Jennifer was the first person to bring Von Deitz to the US for clinics.

  • Karl Mikolka, Arthur Kottas, Franz Rochowansky, and Rudi Rustek: Jennifer was fortunate to train with these Chief Riders of the Spanish Riding School.

  • Dietrich Von Hopttgarten, respected dressage master and author: Jennifer trained 12 years with Von Hopttgarten.

  • Egon von Neindorff,: Jennifer trained in Germany at the Reitinstitut von Neindorff.

  • Charles de Kunffy, respected dressage trainer, judge, and author was Jennifer’s earliest mentor , facilitating her acceptance to the Reitinstitut von Neindorff.

(if you have an RMDS/GVDS participating membership, you have a USDF membership. Unfortunately, GVDS sponsor memberships do not qualify for this clinic, due to the USDF sponsorship.) 

 

Special for GVDS  participating members only: 2-ride discount -  $230/weekend.  

 

Riders are encouraged to return the registration form with check early to assure their entry.  Only 10 rides are available each day. A wait list will be maintained.
