The Grand Valley Dressage Society (GVDS) is a local chapter of the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society (RMDS).  RMDS  is a Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) in Region Five.  GVDS was founded in January 1997. We have over 90 members in our club. We are located in the west-central part of Colorado, with members all the way from Vail to Durango and some in Utah. Most of our activities are centered in the Grand Junction area.

The GVDS mission is to perpetuate the harmony between horse and rider through the art of dressage. We promote dressage by supporting the education of horse and rider, and encourage sportsmanship and competition.

We meet year round on the third Thursday of the month and have activities scheduled year round. We hold schooling shows, recognized shows, clinics, video-nights, and social gatherings.
